Doctors air concerns over details of Scotland’s assisted dying bill

The bill to legalise assisted dying in Scotland is to be introduced in parliament this year, after a public consultation.

Top Scottish clinicians have published a detailed dossier containing a devastating critique of a report by medics on the proposed assisted suicide legislation which goes before Holyrood this year.

The five-page document outlines a raft of concerns in advice notes to Lib Dem MSP Liam McArthur who is behind the Bill.
